In a special event Chief Government Architect Floris Alkemade gives a glimpse into his new essay “The Future of the Netherlands” and urban designer and architect Maurice Harteveld will explain how the city of the future can continue to offer everyone a place. Discussion is open to the public.
The future perspectives will also be linked to the urban agenda in Amersfoort, together with the Amersfoort aldermen Astrid Janssen and Cees van Eijk.

The architecture centre FASadE explores (current) issues and regularly ensures a substantive confrontation between architects and urban designers and planners, municipality, project developers and housing associations. The architecture centre also offers a platform for inspiration, knowledge exchange and networking. The architecture centre organises ‘architecture cafés’, exhibitions, symposia, excursions, tours, the local ‘architecture day’ and publishes publications.
